Digital health record for dogs and cats Visits, medicines and vaccinations
always at hand.

A digital health record for dogs and cats in the free “VetiCloud: Vet Visits & Pets” app: after a visit to a clinic that works in VetiCloud, the owner has the vet’s advice, the medication schedule and vaccinations with expiry dates on their phone. The app also sends reminders when a dose is due, before a vaccination expires and before a booked visit.

  • Freefor pet owners, on iPhone and Android, with no adverts
  • 14, 7, 3 and 1 daybefore a vaccination expires, a reminder arrives in the app
  • In the owner’s languagevisit summary and advice, even when the vet writes in another language
How it is today

The paper vaccination card stays at home exactly when it is needed at the clinic, and the sheet with the vet’s advice goes missing after two days. The owner is not sure whether the antibiotic is given with food or until which day, and remembers the rabies vaccination a week before the trip. When moving house or changing clinics, there is also the question of how to pass test results and the list of medicines from recent years on to the new vet.

With VetiCloud

The “VetiCloud: Vet Visits & Pets” app is for pet owners whose clinic works in VetiCloud. It acts as a digital health record for dogs and cats: it shows the course of visits, advice with medicines and vaccinations exactly as the vet recorded them. If the clinic accepts messages and bookings in the app, owners can also write to it and book the next appointment. The owner decides whether another clinic can see the treatment history.

For pet owners

How it works

  1. 01

The visit saved on the phone

After the visit, the owner sees the diagnosis, treatment and advice. Prescriptions and referrals are at hand too, and for medicines with a dosing schedule, reminders can be switched on for when a dose is due. The vet sees the doses that have been ticked off.

  2. 02

    Vaccinations and prevention on time

The animal’s record shows vaccinations with expiry dates and the latest parasite prevention. Before a vaccination expires, the app sends a reminder several times, and for a booked visit, a day before and two hours before. If your clinic sends text messages, the reminder can come that way too.

  3. 03

    The owner decides on access

At the clinic, consent to view the treatment history is signed at reception. If a new clinic asks for access before the first visit, the request arrives in the app. The owner chooses which animals’ records to share and can withdraw consent at any time. The settings show which clinics have access.

  4. 04

    Booking, messages and payment

If your clinic accepts bookings, messages and payments in the app, the owner books a visit at any time of day, writes to reception instead of phoning and pays the bill on their phone, without queueing at the desk.

After moving house

A new clinic, the same treatment history

A family moves from Poznań to Gdańsk with their cat, who has had kidney disease for two years. The new clinic works in VetiCloud, so before the first visit it sends a request for access to the records. The owner receives it in the app, selects the cat and taps “Share”. The vet sees the earlier test results and medicines from the previous clinic, so the conversation starts with how the cat is feeling today. The owner can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings.

Questions

Questions and answers

Your question is not here? Call us: +48 222 992 995

Do pet owners have to pay for the app?

No. The app is free for owners and shows no adverts. Full access to the records comes from linking the account to the client record at a clinic that works in VetiCloud.

Will the app replace my dog’s or cat’s vaccination card?

It acts as a digital health record: it shows vaccinations with expiry dates, prevention and visit history as they were recorded. A pet passport, needed for example for travel abroad, is still filled in by the vet.

How do I link the app to my clinic?

After downloading the app and creating an account, show the activation code from the start screen at the reception of a clinic that works in VetiCloud, or give the account’s email address. Reception links it to your client record, and if you change phone, you just sign in to the same account.

What if our clinic does not work in VetiCloud?

The app shows a map of clinics that work in VetiCloud and lets you suggest your own, and VetiCloud will get in touch with it. In the meantime, you can add your animal’s profile, keep a wellbeing diary and set your own reminders, for example for tick protection and worming.

Who can see my animal’s medical records?

The clinics that treat it, and those the owner has given consent to in the app. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in the settings, and visits that a clinic carried out itself in the meantime stay in its records.

Can I book a visit without the app?

Yes, at veticloud.com/en/patient/book, at clinics that accept online bookings. Just choose the clinic and a free time, and enter the owner’s and the animal’s details. Such a booking is provisional, so reception gets in touch to confirm the time.
