AI summary of the treatment history Twenty visits
in one summary.
The AI summary of the treatment history condenses the patient’s earlier visits: what is wrong, how it has been treated and what to watch out for today. The vet reads it before the patient comes into the consult room, in the panel or on the phone.
- 20 visitsthe default range, which can be changed to your own number, a period or the whole history
- Four sectionsalways in the same layout, with warnings for today’s visit at the end
- Panel and phonethe same summary in the patient record and in the app for vets
A dog treated at the clinic since puppyhood has dozens of visits in its record, written up by several vets, each in their own way and with their own abbreviations. There is no time to read all that between one consultation and the next, so the vet looks through the last two visits and asks the owner about the rest. That makes it easy to miss a relapse a year ago or a body weight that has been rising over three rechecks in a row.
The AI summary reads the records from the chosen range, by default the last twenty visits, and returns a concise overview in four fixed sections. It relies only on what is in the record, and when something is missing, it says plainly that there is no data. The finished summary is saved with the patient, so the next vet opens it without generating it again, including in the app for vets.
How it works
-
01
The vet chooses the range
By default the program takes the last twenty visits. The vet can enter their own number, a date range or choose the whole history.
-
02
Warnings for today’s visit
The last section of the summary gathers what the vet should know before starting the examination, for example a recurring problem or a worrying body weight trend.
-
03
Only what is in the record
The summary is built solely from entries in the record: visit notes, dispensed drugs and prescriptions. It does not add diagnoses that are not there, and the full records stay where they are.
-
04
Saved with the patient
Once generated, a summary opens without being recalculated: in the patient record, in the history on the visit and in the app for vets. A new one is generated when something significant has been added to the record.
A bitch with another recurrence of cystitis
An eleven-year-old bitch, until now seen by two other vets, comes in with another recurrence of cystitis. The vet seeing her for the first time generates a summary before the owner comes into the consult room. He learns about two earlier episodes this year and an E. coli culture treated according to the antibiogram. Instead of treating blindly, he collects urine for culture, and the last section of the summary tells him to ask about leaking urine at night and weight gain.
Questions and answers
Your question is not here? Call us: +48 222 992 995
Where does AI get the content of the treatment history summary?
Only from the patient records the clinic sees in the record: visit notes, dispensed drugs and prescriptions. The summary does not add diagnoses that are not in the entries.
Do patient records leave the system?
To produce the summary, the visit notes from the chosen range are sent to an AI language model, which returns only the summary. That is why the clinic switches this feature on deliberately, and otherwise the records do not leave the system.
How much does an AI summary cost?
Switching it on is free, and you pay for usage: each summary generated uses tokens from a pool topped up in the owner panel. Opening an existing summary costs nothing.
Does the summary replace the patient record?
No. It is a shortcut that lets you get up to speed quickly. The full records stay where they are, and where a decision calls for it, you read the original visit notes.
Does the AI summary work in the app for vets?
Yes. The vet can open or generate it on the phone, from the visit record and from the patient record, even before the visit has been created.
